So, the reviews are in - they are generally positive, with some comments that are mixed, but on the whole, I would say B+ reviews. There is a great quote form City Paper about some “design porn” - commenting on the lush sets and costumes. (We get applause for the reveal of Act Three Set, and then usually some gasps when Gilda enters in her Act 3 dress).

Otherwise, things are work are still, um, oddly irritating - not in a major way, but some things are still up in the air for the end of this season and beginning of next season - so planning on a vacation is a little up in the air. The plan is to go to Boise to visit my Grandmother (and my Uncle Matt and Aunt Lynn), and then to the Bay Area to see my son. I may or may not make a trek down to Southern California to see my family, if I do, I will go all the way down to San Diego to see some friends and my de-facto-Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law. But the timing of all this depends on the work things sorting itself out.

I am also a little tight on funds (big thanks to my parents and to Mark) - I am on a race to pay off about 7,000.00 in my medical loans by the one-year date so I don’t have to pay any interest. So money is tight for the time being, but it looks like I will be on target to be debt free (except for the student loans) by February. That will be nice. Then I can start back in building up some savings.

OH . . . we have a new dryer at the apartment - the old one died a tragic death. I am very excited about doing laundry now. It’s now vented outside, so we shouldn’t get the humidity that came with the last dryer.
